IT Administrator (BPO Operations)

Role Overview

We’re launching a new BPO focused on serving SaaS and tech startups with AI-augmented customer support, SDR-as-a-Service, Revenue-as-a-service and account management. As our first IT Administrator, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the technical backbone of our operations, ensuring network reliability, security, and compliance from Day 1.

Key Responsibilities

● Network & Connectivity

○ Set up and maintain dedicated fiber internet with static IP.

○ Ensure VPN implementation and manage secure VoIP/softphone systems.

○ Monitor uptime, bandwidth, and redundancy (backup line, failover).

● System Security

○ Deploy and manage endpoint security (antivirus, firewall, Bitdefender/Microsoft Defender).

○ Enforce endpoint security and basic device management using Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 tools.

○ Handle data backup, access control, and device monitoring.

● Hardware & Infrastructure

○ Procure and configure laptops, noise-cancelling headsets, routers, UPS/power backup.

○ Support day-to-day IT issues for staff (troubleshooting, upgrades, patching).

● Compliance & Licensing

○ Ensure systems are client-ready (role-based access, VPN logs, device security).

○ Maintain audit-ready IT documentation (system configurations, access logs, incident reports).

○ Implement data backup and recovery procedures aligned with client compliance expectations.

○ Ensure secure onboarding/offboarding of employees (access revocation, credential management).

● SaaS & Collaboration Tools

○ Administer Google Workspace, CRM, dialer, and other SaaS subscriptions.

○ Support integration of AI-assisted tools for workflows.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

● 2–4 years’ experience in IT support/admin (BPO or SaaS company experience preferred).

● Strong knowledge of network setup, VoIP/dialers, firewalls, and cloud tools.

● Hands-on with VPNs, endpoint protection, and data security best practices.

● Problem solver with ability to support a fast-paced startup environment.

● Candidates who can share examples of past IT projects (e.g., network setups, VoIP configurations, security policies, or IT documentation they’ve prepared and can explain) will be preferred.
