IT Application Assistant Manager

Job Description

• Coordinate with IT system provider about the application design, development, testing and go-live
• Analyze and evaluate new business development needs from business departments.
• Support application users for daily operation
• Troubleshoot for application problems, deficiencies and incidents in first line
• Manage documentations of applications
• Implement temporary tasks related to application, including data extraction, statistics and reporting
• Manage disaster backup and recovery plan and review and optimize the plan regularly
• Organize disaster testing, collecting findings and track the actions plan of solution
• Manage application environment, which includes but not limits to OS, Database
• Manage application logs and archive them in line with local regulations and global requirements
• Implement change process of production environment by following change management procedure
• Organize training, manage user acceptance test(UAT) , collecting test evidence and findings, draft UAT reports, perform release management procedure and ensure compliance with bank’s change management procedure
• Project management in scope of bank’s applications
• Other works related to application and runtime environment management

Desired Skills & Experience

• University degree of Computer Science, Information System Management or related majors
• Minimum 5 years of related and / or cross-functional experience in the industry
• Experience on System Administrative or other Infrastructure management is an advantage
• ETL development or maintenance experience is plus
• Good at SQL
• Hands-on experience in tools like Jira, Confluence etc.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced level of spoken and written English
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within limited timescales
• Having team motivating and result oriented coordinating skills
• No military service obligation for male candidates
