Job Description:
At Regions, the Information Technology Asset Support Specialist supports the organization in the sourcing and logistical administration of technology assets.

Primary Responsibilities
Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of technology products, ensuring conformance to internal policy
Supports lines of business with administrative tasks related to technology equipment ordering
Maintain and conduct technology asset inventories
Fulfills online order requests from the Regions Company Store for standard items, specialty orders, nonstandard software, and hardware requests
Ensures product catalog remains up to date with items, vendors, and pricing
Provides logistical support for disposition and redeployment of desktop related hardware
Handles procurement, activation, and deactivation of wireless and hotspot devices along with troubleshooting issues
Supports lines of business with technology procedures related to new associate hires, separations, and leaves of absence
Maintains thorough documentation related to tasks and procedures
Prepares detailed reports for review by all levels of management
Offers advice and guidance to junior specialists, assisting in development of necessary knowledge

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of experience in Procurement, Technology Asset Management, or related field
Or Bachelor’s degree in related field and six (6) years of experience in Procurement, Technology Asset Management, or related field

Preferences
Knowledge of applicable product contracts and cost implications through life cycles
Knowledge of procurement systems
Experience with Information Technology ticketing systems and asset management tools

Skills and Competencies
Ability to communicate effectively with varying levels of management
Ability to work under limited guidance
Detail oriented
Knowledge of technology asset management principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Strong personal computer (PC) skills including Microsoft Applications (e.g. Excel and Access)
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC.

Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position at this time. Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:
Minimum: $67,250.00 USD
Median: $84,970.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans: This job is not incentive eligible.
