IT Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Assistant to join our hospital’s Information Technology team. The IT Assistant will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, maintaining hardware and software systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations to support patient care and hospital administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist in maintaining hospital software systems, databases, and user accounts.
• Troubleshoot system errors, connectivity problems, and application-related issues.
• Ensure data security, backup processes, and confidentiality compliance.
• Support IT team in network monitoring and server maintenance.
• Document IT support requests, solutions, and system changes.
• Coordinate with vendors for IT equipment procurement and maintenance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with hospital management systems or healthcare IT applications (preferred).
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
