Job Title: IT Assistant

Location: Defence Phase 6, Bukhari Commercial Area, Karachi
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled IT Assistant to support the day-to-day IT operations of our architecture firm. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth functioning of all hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and networks
• Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and internet issues
• Manage office network, Wi-Fi, and basic server tasks
• Troubleshoot system errors and resolve IT-related problems efficiently
• Maintain backups and ensure data security
• Install and update software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other design tools
• Monitor system performance and suggest improvements
• Coordinate with external vendors for repairs or upgrades when needed

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 1–2 years of relevant experience (fresh candidates with strong skills may apply)
• Basic knowledge of networking, hardware troubleshooting, and Windows OS
• Familiarity with installing and managing design software is a plus
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and respond quickly to issues

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of LAN/WAN setup and maintenance
• Experience with data backup systems and cybersecurity basics
• Understanding of office IT infrastructure
