Job Overview
Our law firm is seeking a dependable and tech-savvy IT Associate to support daily operations and maintain the firm’s technology infrastructure. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving, improving systems, and helping a small team work more efficiently through technology.

You’ll work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to support our cloud-based tools, communication systems, and data management processes.

Duties

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for firm staff, including troubleshooting software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage and maintain accounts, permissions, and configurations within platforms such as Microsoft 365, Lawmatics, RingCentral, and other cloud applications.
  • Configure and maintain domain settings, subdomains, and portal access (e.g., via Cloudflare or website management tools).
  • Configure and maintain domain settings and subdomains (via Cloudflare).
  • Maintain and update internal documentation and system records.
  • Assist with cybersecurity best practices, including account security, MFA, and access management.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external service providers for specialized IT or software support.
  • Conduct analysis of IT infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide clear, professional assistance to team members at all levels of technical ability.
  • Oversee ongoing maintenance, updates, and technical performance of company websites.
  • Assist with website development initiatives, including portal configuration, content updates, development of new websites, and coordination with other web developers as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and general cloud computing tools.
  • Familiarity with web-based platforms and configuration (e.g., domain management, DNS, or portal setups).
  • Experience with CRM or workflow software such as Lawmatics, Clio, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of VoIP phone systems (RingCentral or similar).
  • Basic familiarity with website management, including hosting dashboards, CMS updates, or DNS configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality in a professional environment.
  • Prior experience providing IT support in a small business or professional services setting preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
