IT Audit Specialist

Position Overview:

As an Internal Audit Specialist, you will evaluate and enhance the company's processes and controls. Your responsibilities include designing and executing risk-based audit plans, assessing compliance, and making improvement recommendations. You will work closely with senior leadership to identify areas for improvement, ensure adherence to internal policies, and maintain operational excellence, thereby strengthening governance, risk management, and internal controls to ensure long-term success.

Responsibilities：

• Design and implement audit plans to ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal procedures.
• Identify risks, assess the control environment, and recommend improvements.
• Regularly report audit results to senior management and relevant departments.
• Prepare and execute the annual internal audit plan and conduct risk-based reviews of activities.
• Lead cross-departmental and external communications related to IT audit, ensuring smooth interactions and resolving issues as the project lead to collect relevant materials.

Qualifications：

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in information technology audit or a related field.
• Familiarity with domestic and international information security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, COBIT) and Turkey's regulatory IT audit frameworks.
• Knowledge of regulations and information technology standards in the Turkish financial industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication abilities.
• Experience in the financial industry is preferred, particularly in a public company setting.
• Professional certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.) are a plus.
• Strong work ethics, positive work attitude, attention to detail, diligence, practicality, self-driven, and results-oriented.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
• Proficient in English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
