<Job Summary>
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a vital bridge between business needs and technology solutions, analyzing processes, defining requirements, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver impactful data-driven projects. Your expertise will help optimize systems and enhance decision-making capabilities across the organization.

<Duties>

• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis to ensure clear understanding of project goals.
• Analyze existing data workflows and systems, identifying opportunities for process improvements using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
• Collaborate with project teams in Agile environments to develop project plans, track progress, and ensure timely delivery aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
• Design database schemas and data models utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other platforms to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Talend or similar tools to facilitate data integration from diverse sources such as R, Python scripts, or Bash (Unix shell).
• Create visual dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for stakeholders using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Support database design efforts and optimize SQL queries to improve data retrieval efficiency for analysis purposes.

<Requirements>

• Proven experience in business analysis within an IT environment with strong understanding of SDLC methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL programming and database management using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools like Talend or equivalent platforms.
• Familiarity with programming languages including Python, R, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), for data analysis and automation tasks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience working within Agile project management frameworks to deliver iterative solutions efficiently.
• Understanding of database design principles and linked data concepts to support comprehensive analytics initiatives. Pay: $74,772.91 - $90,049.10 per year
