IT Business Analyst
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives and align IT initiatives accordingly.
- Assist in the development of IT strategies and roadmaps to support business goals and objectives.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
Acquisition & Deployment
- Support the evaluation and selection of IT solutions and vendors, ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives.
- Assist in coordinating the deployment and implementation of IT projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
- Assist in the development of user training materials and documentation to facilitate successful deployment and adoption of IT solutions.
Operational Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for business users, providing support and guidance on IT systems, processes, and projects.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, including business processes, user needs, and system functionalities.
- Develop detailed business and functional requirements documentation, including use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT developers, designers, and project managers, to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
- Participate in the testing of IT solutions to ensure features and functions meet business expectations.
- Coordinate user training sessions, providing support and guidance to ensure effective adoption and utilization of IT solutions.
EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in a business analyst or coordinator role is advantageous, but candidates with a strong interest in technology and business collaboration will also be considered.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and dependability.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and adapt to new challenges on the job.
- Experience with project coordination and collaboration tools is a plus, but not mandatory.
