Job Description
We are looking for an IT Contract Manager to analyze IT-related contracts, including software licenses, cloud services, cybersecurity agreements, and hardware procurements, to understand obligations and identify potential risks . This position will be full-time contract and onsite in Chicago, IL.
What You’ll Do
Analyze IT-related contracts, including software licenses, cloud services, cybersecurity agreements, and hardware procurements, to understand obligations and identify potential risks
Keep track of contract orders, invoices, payments for a running total of contract activity
Develop forecasts and management reports to flag utilization, expenditures or compliance issues and risks with sufficient lead time to take preventative action
Evaluate the adherence to contractual terms through audits, reviews, and data analysis
Prepare comprehensive compliance reports, detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans, and maintain accurate records of compliance activities
Provide reports, forecasts and assistance to IT contract managers in budget planning and capital planning for upcoming years
Contribute to the development and implementation of IT contract compliance policies and procedures
Educate stakeholders on IT contract compliance requirements and best practices
Identify opportunities to improve IT contract management processes and enhance overall compliance
Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending contract optimizations
Support budgeting efforts by providing insights into IT contract expenditures
Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and industry compliance standards
Act as a liaison between IT, finance, procurement, audit and legal teams to streamline contract management processes
Support internal and external audit requests related to IT contracts
Communicate audit findings and improvement recommendations to stakeholders
Maintain a centralized database of IT contracts and track key renewals and amendments
Work with Procurement to ensure timely renewals and amendments
Prepare audit reports and provide updates for improvement
Review IT vendor contracts to ensure adherence to terms, conditions, and regulatory requirements
Conduct periodic audits to assess contract compliance, financial accuracy, and service-level agreement (SLA) fulfillment
What You'll Need
Required:
Experience in IT contract management and compliance
Strong analytical skills for contract analysis and reporting
Ability to develop forecasts and management reports
Preferred:
Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting for IT expenditures
Strong understanding of internal financial policies and regulatory compliance standards
Ability to streamline contract management processes and identify cost-saving opportunities
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
