Universal Motors Ltd is a leading vehicle export company, delivering high-quality cars to customers across Africa and beyond. As we expand our operations, we’re looking for a skilled IT Executive to manage our internal systems, network infrastructure, and telephony setup.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Executive with strong expertise in Asterisk (VoIP systems) and Cisco networking & switching, along with basic hardware and system support skills.
This role demands technical proficiency, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities to ensure smooth IT operations across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Asterisk VoIP systems.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco switches and network devices.
• Provide basic hardware and software support for office systems.
• Ensure network stability, security, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure needs.
• Maintain documentation and perform regular system backups.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Asterisk PBX systems.
• Strong understanding of Cisco switching, routing, and network protocols.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN management and firewall configurations.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
