Job Title: Head of Information Technology (IT Head)

Location: Al Jurf, Ajman

Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer / Managing Director

Job Summary

The IT Head will lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of the organization's technology infrastructure, systems, and digital transformation initiatives. This role demands a visionary leader with deep technical expertise and strong business acumen to align IT capabilities with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.
• Infrastructure & Systems Management
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, networks, and enterprise systems.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of all IT systems and platforms.
• Manage cloud services, data centers, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance
• Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits.
• Team Leadership & Development
• Build and manage a high-performing IT team across support, development, and infrastructure.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Provide mentorship and career development opportunities.
• Vendor & Budget Management
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
• Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate with department heads to understand technology needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Communicate IT strategy, progress, and risks to executive leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), ERP systems, and network architecture.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.

Pay: AED7,000.00 per month
