Summary:

The IT Help Desk is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent user support for internal employees.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to local and remote users via phone, e-mail, online systems, and in-person interactions
  • Maintain organized troubleshooting notes and steps to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Monitor and maintain server health and performance to ensure smooth business operations
  • Collaborate closely with the remote infrastructure support team to provide on-site technical support, including troubleshooting, deploying, cabling, and infrastructure monitoring
  • Install, configure and maintain PCs, network printers, peripherals, and software, including physical network connections
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers and network equipment
  • Ensure system security and compliance with company IT policy
  • Utilize tools such as Active Directory, Remote Desktop, and related systems, etc.
  • Operate and support audio/visual equipment, including video teleconferencing devices, projectors, and presentation tools
  • Support on-boarding and off-boarding activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes and solutions
  • Perform regular training on IT best practices and topics
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobiles devices, and common software
  • Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong knowledge of Office Suite products
  • CompTIA A+ preferred but not required


Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in various aspects of IT and Infrastructure.
  • Experience with desktop operating systems, office applications, hardware installation and troubleshooting
