Job Title: IT Infrastructure and Operations Agile Scrum

Overview:

Are you passionate about helping technical teams work smarter, collaborate better, and deliver reliable infrastructure that powers the business? We’re looking for an Agile Scrum Master to support our Technology Infrastructure and Operations teams as they plan, prioritize, and deliver improvements across our data center environment.

In this role, you’ll help guide agile practices for infrastructure work, bringing structure, transparency, and continuous improvement to how we manage upgrades, lifecycle initiatives, operational enhancements, and automation opportunities. You’ll partner closely with technology leaders and engineers to break complex initiatives into deliverable outcomes that strengthen reliability, scalability, and performance.

What You’ll Do:

Day in the Life – You’ll start your day connecting with infrastructure and operations teams during daily standups, where you’ll check progress, help remove roadblocks, and ensure everyone is aligned on priorities. Throughout the week, you’ll facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives that keep work moving forward and continuously improving. You’ll work closely with the Infrastructure & Operations Officer to shape the roadmap for our data center environment, helping translate strategic goals into a prioritized backlog that includes lifecycle upgrades, capacity improvements, automation opportunities, and operational enhancements. As work progresses, you’ll coordinate efforts across network, compute, storage, security, and cloud teams to keep delivery predictable and transparent. When unexpected operational work arises – as it often does in infrastructure – you’ll help the team incorporate it into the sprint without losing momentum. Along the way, you’ll track key agile metrics, communicate progress and risks to stakeholders, and champion improvements that make our infrastructure more reliable, scalable, and efficient.

What it Takes:

• This position is an in-office position, and candidate must be located a commutable distance from the available locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in agile delivery (Scrum Master, Agile Lead, Product Owner, or similar).
• Experience working with Data Center, infrastructure, or IT operations teams.
• Strong understanding of agile frameworks and experience tailoring them for infrastructure environments.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate work across multiple technical domains and manage competing priorities.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to influence, coach, and guide technical teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow‑through.
• Proficiency in agile management processes.

Bonus Points:

• Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master or Advanced Certified ScrumMaster
• Experience supporting product-centric delivery models in infrastructure or operations
• Familiarity with automation, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, or ITIL practices
• Experience in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
