IT Infrastructure Specialist

Accountabilities & Key Roles:

• Monitoring and maintaining the availability of IT Infrastructure in the country/region.
• Identifying and informing ITG of potential enhancements needs and solutions.
• Ensuring strict adherence to P&Ps and prompt closure of audit findings.
• Developing operating and configuration manuals for all systems and ensuring adequate training.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements and follow up issues raised in audit report.
• Define and set in place appropriate capacity and availability plans.
• Monitor continuously the availability & capacity of the infrastructure, asses its problems and issues and implement resolutions.
• Generate periodic status reports.
• Implement security controls to protect and secure the infrastructure.
• Coordinate and liaise continuously with the infrastructure team at the ITS.
• Build capacity and proper knowledge transfer among team members.
• Develop the needed P&P in coordination with Head Office.
• Participate in the development of Service Level Agreements with concerned parties.
• Proactively work to meet Service Level Agreements and set/execute correction plans to avoid breaches.
• Document infrastructure requirements, issue purchasing documents, conduct technical evaluation and recommend vendors.
