Job Overview

The IT Manager will oversee all technology operations across Washmen’s facilities, logistics hubs, and corporate offices. This role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT systems, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, proactive, and experienced in managing IT in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure & Operations
  • Manage and maintain all IT systems, including servers, networks, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, and cloud services.
  • Oversee IT support for production facilities, including IoT devices, RFID systems, POS terminals, and automation equipment.
  • Ensure high availability of mission‑critical systems used for order processing, routing, and facility operations.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
2. Security & Compliance
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, threats, and breaches.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., DOP standards).
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.

3. Technical Support & Service Delivery
  • Lead the IT support team to deliver timely and effective technical assistance.
  • Establish and monitor SLAs for internal support.
  • Improve helpdesk processes and user experience.
  • Arrangement of Assests like Laptops and Mobile phones
4. Strategic Planning & Project Management
  • Develop IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Plan and execute technology projects, upgrades, and system integrations.
  • Prepare and manage the IT budget, including procurement and vendor contracts.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
5. Team Leadership
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop IT staff.
  • Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct evaluations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Key Skills & Competencies

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN), firewalls, and cybersecurity tools.
  • Experience with Windows and cloud services (Azure/AWS).
  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems, backup solutions.
  • Understanding of IT governance frameworks.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent leadership and team‑management abilities.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Effective communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Certifications
  • ITIL Foundation
  • CompTIA Network+ / Security+
  • Microsoft, Cisco, or AWS certifications
  • PMP or other project management credentials.
