IT Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Information Technology Manager to lead our IT operations, drive technological innovation, and support the organization’s digital transformation goals. The ideal candidate will oversee daily IT functions, manage system infrastructure, ensure data security, and direct a team of skilled IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of computer systems, hardware, software, telecommunications, and data networks.
• Plan, organize, and direct data processing, telecommunications services, and workflow coordination.
• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of management information systems.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate IT Department staff.
• Develop, implement, and continuously update short- and long-term IT strategies.
• Manage acquisition, installation, upgrades, and transitions of IT equipment and systems.
• Conduct system studies and oversee programming and procedural development.
• Support department heads in identifying and implementing application solutions.
• Prepare and manage the IT department budget.
• Monitor emerging technologies and recommend improvements or replacements.
• Serve as System Security Manager, ensuring implementation of robust security protocols.
• Compile system performance reports and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Maintain IT policies, standards, procedures, and operational guides.
• Ensure quality assurance and high performance across IT services.
• Lead IT-related research, including hardware and software evaluations.
• Manage and follow up on IT department contracts.
• Prepare internal and external IT reports as required.
• Plan and ensure efficient server backups and data security.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT solutions align with organizational goals.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Deputy General Manager, Corporate Support.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant IT certifications are preferred (e.g., network, systems, cybersecurity, database).
• Minimum 10 years of experience and strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and IT systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Visual Basic .NET, Crystal Reports, ASP, HTML, Flash, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and SAP ERP .
• Strong system integration capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and in rotating shifts (day/night).
• Excellent command of English and Arabic. Kuwaiti nationals are preferred for this role
