We are seeking an IT Manager to join our team!

Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides healthcare services to Clark, and Madison County area populations.

The IT Manager supports and manages all computer technology including network, hardware, software and security. Installs, maintains, supports, tests, and repairs system hardware/software and network infrastructure. Actively supports all aspects of the organization.

Position Information:

Position Title: IT Manager

Primary Service Center: Springfield, Ohio (South Limestone Location)

FLSA Status: Exempt – Salaried position

Work Hours: Full-time position

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or (GED) is required, bachelor’s degree in related field or minimum three (3) years related experience and training preferred.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCSE, VCP, or CISSP are recommended.

Must have Current Driver’s License and acceptable driving record as occasional travel to other RHCHC locations are

required.

Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills are necessary.

The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is required.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and Bachelor’s degree in related field or/ minimum of three years related experience and or training.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, customers and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variable sin standardized situations.

Computer skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:
  • Must be familiar with TCP/IP Network topologies, VLANs and WAN/LAN switches, routers, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), network monitoring tools, DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, and SSL.
  • Technical proficiency in configuration of ASA Firewalls and network switches using either GUI interface or CLI.
  • Ability to manage Windows Server Administrative Tools, such as maintain a clean Active Directory structure, create and deploy Group Policy Objects, create DHCP scopes for VLANs, create static DNS entries, and more.
  • Experience in administering Mac, Linux, and Windows systems that includes Windows 7, 10 workstations and Windows 2008/2012/2016 servers.
  • Proven skills in repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and compliant liquidation of computers, hard drives, servers, networking equipment, PBX system, and more.
  • Ability to troubleshoot advanced networking issues, manage high-level projects, mentor Technical Support Technicians, experience with data cabling, systems administration in a variety of software and hardware environments, telecom/PBX administration, and root cause analysis in problem solving.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A current driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. An individual whom poses a direct threat to the health and safety of himself/herself or others in the workplace will be deemed not qualified for this position.

Excellent interpersonal communication, organization, and managerial skills are also necessary.
