Position Summary

The IT Manager serves as a senior technical and strategic leader responsible for driving the organization’s technology vision, architecture, and operational excellence. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership, guiding teams in the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, and applications to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute long-term IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on technology trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Lead IT governance, standards, and best practices across projects and teams.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to enhance performance and efficiency.

Architecture Ownership

  • Own the design, documentation, and evolution of enterprise architecture (application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security domains).
  • Establish and maintain reference architectures, migration plans, and technology standards.
  • Lead architectural reviews and ensure solutions align with current and future business needs

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Lead and develop leads, supervisors, and manager to increase overall technological proficiency in the company
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Define technical competencies and ensure professional development within the organization.

Project & Operations Management

  • Oversee complex IT projects from conception through deployment.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI)
  • Oversee incident response, access controls, and security governance.

Business & Stakeholder Interaction

  • Partner with business leaders to shape technology roadmaps and translate strategy into actionable initiatives.
  • Present technical strategies and outcomes to executive leadership and steering committees.
  • Measure and report on business outcomes, including uptime/SLA targets, cost optimization, and user satisfaction.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership or architecture role.
  • Proven success managing large-scale IT initiatives and cross-functional teams.

Technical Competencies

  • Enterprise architecture (cloud platforms: AWS/Azure/GCP, containerization, CI/CD, DevOps/SRE)
  • SQL Server
  • ERP systems (e.g. SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics)
  • Data management and integration tools (APIs, ETL, analytics platforms)
  • Network and infrastructure design (cloud, on-prem, hybrid).
  • Security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI) and incident management

Soft Skills:

  • Strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience and ability to train non-technical users
  • Ability to influence executive decisions
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
