Position Title:
IT Monitoring Center – Network Monitoring Specialist

Education:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
1–2 years of practical experience in networking, gained through academic projects, internships, or entry-level IT roles.
Monthly Salary Package:
12,000 SAR
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls).
- CompTIA Network+ (required).
- Cisco CCNA (required).
- Ability to monitor and analyze network traffic, bandwidth consumption, latency, and performance trends.
- Basic understanding of data center networking components and enterprise network environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot network alerts, incidents, and performance issues.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix).
- Good documentation and reporting skills for incident logs, performance metrics, and network configurations.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with security, system administration, application, and IT support teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to network-related incidents.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new networking technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor the data center and enterprise network to ensure performance, availability, and security.
- Track network traffic, bandwidth usage, latency, and detect anomalies or performance degradation.
- Respond promptly to alerts and incidents to troubleshoot and resolve network problems.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Log incidents immediately into the Incident Management System and notify all concerned parties per the escalation matrix.
- Maintain updated documentation of network configurations, monitoring procedures, incident reports, and performance statistics.
- Generate network performance and security reports for internal auditing and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with system administrators, security teams, developers, and help desk teams to resolve issues and support new technology deployments.
