Description:
Objective:
A Network Administrator optimizes, secures, and maintains the organization’s IT infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, servers, and firewalls. Key responsibilities include installing hardware/software, troubleshooting connectivity issues, monitoring network performance, training users, and conducting data backups to ensure maximum uptime and security.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Understand and assist with the issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, email, etc.
- Understand and assist with the administration and maintenance of the telephone system, including telephone switches and employee cell phones.
Assists with the creation of new hire telephone and voicemail extensions, routing extensions to appropriate locations and updating information as Innovator seating assignments change.
- Assists in supporting corporate applications, internal corporate servers, user desktops, etc. Assists with basic troubleshooting, backup, and archiving. Help install and improve computer software and network equipment.
- Create network and email accounts for new users. Set up computers for new users and ensures delivery of equipment to users. Updates company phone lists and email address books.
- Help answer all trouble calls/emails and enter work orders into our tracking software.
Assists in administering and maintaining local and web-based versions of our tracking software. Interacts with internal clients to resolve basic help desk issues, communicates with internal clients in a professional manner maintaining confidentiality. Provide responses to internal clients in a timely manner.
- Assists with the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies. Assists with the purchase of software, hardware and other IT supplies. Promote responsible usage and care of corporate equipment.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds and sustain prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a temp to hire position.
