IT Officer

Job Summary:

The IT Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the trading software, ensuring smooth system performance, data security, and network connectivity across all departments. The role requires strong technical expertise in network administration, server management, and software support, with the ability to coordinate between internal users and Vision Max support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Trading Software Management

· Manage and monitor trading software operations for all users.

· Coordinate with trading software technical support for system updates, bug fixes, and configurations.

· Maintain user credentials, permissions, and access levels.

· Ensure data synchronization, trade execution accuracy, and real-time reporting.

· Train staff on using trading software features and troubleshoot user issues.

2. IT Infrastructure & Networking

· Oversee company network setup including LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches.

· Maintain system uptime, connectivity, and data security across all branches.

· Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.

· Manage email servers, file sharing systems, and internet security protocols.

· Implement and monitor antivirus and cybersecurity measures.

3. System & Hardware Support

· Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, printers, and other hardware.

· Ensure all IT assets are properly documented and maintained.

· Monitor performance of IT systems and recommend improvements.

4. Coordination & Reporting

· Work closely with management and trading software vendor for system integration or upgrades.

· Prepare periodic reports on IT operations, software performance, and network health.

· Support compliance and audit requirements related to IT and trading software.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in IT management, preferably in a financial, brokerage, or trading company.

Technical Skills:

· Strong knowledge of Vision Max or similar trading software.

· Proficiency in networking (Cisco, Mikrotik, etc.).

· Experience with Windows Server / Active Directory / Firewalls / VPNs.

· Familiarity with database management (SQL) and system backups.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

· Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Certifications:

· CCNA / CCNP

· Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)

· CompTIA Network+ / Security+Graphic Design Intern (Paid Internship)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
