IT Officer / IT Support

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and motivated IT Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer systems, providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
• Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related issues.
• Monitor and maintain networks, systems, printers, and internet connections.
• Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
• Support email systems and office applications.
• Maintain IT inventory and equipment records.
• Coordinate with external vendors when required.
• Ensure data security and confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Previous experience in IT support or a similar role is preferred.
• Good knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, and networking basics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
