Job Title: IT Planning Analyst โ Contracts
Role Overview
The IT Planning Analyst (Contracts) is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT contracts, ensuring compliance with corporate governance, budget alignment, and regulatory requirements. The role works closely with IT, Legal, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to drive effective sourcing, risk mitigation, and value realization across IT contractual engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Lifecycle Management

Manage the full lifecycle of IT contracts, from requirements gathering and tendering through execution and close-out.

Prepare, review, negotiate, and maintain high-quality contractual documentation in line with organizational policies and standards.

Ensure accurate and timely contract close-out activities in compliance with established procedures.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with internal stakeholders including SMEs, IT, Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance to ensure contractual clarity and alignment.

Provide guidance to Contract Owners and Representatives during tendering and execution phases.

Engage stakeholders throughout all contract stages, promoting transparency and continuous improvement.
Procurement & Financial Alignment

Support procurement activities by ensuring accurate SAP transactions and adherence to approved CAPEX and OPEX budgets.

Ensure procurement execution aligns with IT budget plans and approved sourcing strategies.

Provide strategic input on sourcing approaches to optimize cost, mitigate risk, and align with business objectives.
Governance, Risk & Compliance

Ensure contracts comply with corporate governance frameworks, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.

Manage high-value and complex IT contracts in line with risk mitigation protocols.

Maintain audit readiness across the contract lifecycle.
Vendor & Performance Management

Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and KPIs.

Conduct contract and supplier evaluations to ensure value delivery, compliance, and achievement of business objectives.

Identify opportunities for supplier and contract performance improvement.
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
Education
-
Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience
-
5โ8 years of experience in IT contract management, procurement, or supply chain management.

Preferred experience within oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors.

Proven experience working with legal, technical, and procurement teams in a regulated environment.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-value IT contracts.
Technical & Functional Skills

Strong knowledge of IT contracting principles, procurement strategies, and vendor governance frameworks.

Familiarity with IT contracts covering software licensing, SaaS, cloud services, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions.

Proficiency in ERP and contract management tools (e.g., SAP).

Solid understanding of CAPEX and OPEX alignment in contract execution.
