Remuneration: OMR 3,400 per month (Total Package)

The Engineering Objective

Situated in the heart of the Sultanate’s premier tech hub at Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM), MindCob IT Solutions is looking for a Senior Python Developer to lead the architecture of our next-generation backend services. This is a high-level engineering role for a developer who prioritizes clean, maintainable code and understands how to scale applications for a global user base. You will be a key driver of innovation within the KOM 2 Building’s vibrant tech community.

Development DNA & Focus Areas

• Architecture & Design: Lead the development of high-performance, asynchronous backend services using Python, ensuring modularity and long-term scalability.
• API Ecosystem Governance: Design and maintain robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between complex frontend interfaces and database layers.
• Performance Engineering: Conduct deep-dive code reviews and profiling to optimize latency and resource consumption across our cloud-native infrastructure.
• Security-First Coding: Implement rigorous data protection and authentication protocols, ensuring all digital assets meet the highest cybersecurity standards in the region.

Candidate DNA

• Experience Horizon: 7+ years of professional software development, with at least 4 years focused on senior-level Python architecture in a high-volume environment.
• Technical Stack: Expertise in Django or FastAPI frameworks; deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Language Standards: Advanced C2-level professional English is required for complex technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
• Asynchronous Communication: Proficiency in using Loom to record code walkthroughs and architectural overviews for distributed stakeholders.
