IT Project Manager

About the Role

As a Project Manager – ICT, you will be responsible for leading and delivering ICT projects end to end, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, commitments, and overall business goals. You will manage project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure while coordinating stakeholders, resources, risks, and changes to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, cost, and quality.

Key Accountabilities

• Project Delivery:
• Lead projects through the complete lifecycle—from initiation to closure—by developing and maintaining detailed project plans and tracking progress.
• Resource Management:
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure optimal resource availability and allocation, including management of project revenue forecasting and invoicing.
• Reporting & Communication:
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing accurate and timely project status updates and ensuring that client requirements are met as projects evolve.
• Change Management:
• Apply appropriate change management methodologies to control scope, schedule, and cost changes while meeting customer deadlines and expectations.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders.
• Risk & Issue Management:
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to prevent delays and cost overruns; proactively manage issues and escalate when required.
• Project Performance & Documentation:
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and systems and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Team & Sub-Project Management:
• When required, manage sub-projects and collaborate with other Project Managers and Project Coordinators.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification – Mandatory
• ITIL / Scrum / Agile certification – Advantage

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in Agile environments, from conception to delivery
• Experience in the IT industry, particularly in:
• Cloud
• AI
• IoT
• System Integration
• Applications
• Data Centers
• Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and processes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as JIRA

Skills

• Ability to independently manage projects with minimal supervision
• Proven capability to deliver projects within scope, timeline, budget, and quality
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
• Excellent client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills
• Experience conducting post-project evaluations and lessons-learned sessions

Job Type: Contract
