Job Overview
XPECT Solutions is seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead enterprise‑level technology initiatives and ensure the successful execution of all contract requirements. The IT Project Manager is responsible for the successful development, implementation, schedule, and cost performance of the major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program/project managers (non-tech), in accordance with the client's requirements and policies, procedures and guidelines. The IT Project Manager will serve as the official point of contact with Government representatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage one or more projects or programs, may manage an operating office and supervises professional and technical personnel performing in their customary disciplines
- Train and supervise personnel
- Responsible for all phases of the program budget
- Perform analysis for call order reviews with various software
- Develop Quality Assurance Programs for all products and services
- Assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete task
- Act as Hiring Manager for the program
- Monitor call order, subcontract, and funding; prepares forecasts of program financial performance
- Develop and delivers required call order, departmental, project and/or financial reports
- Assess risk, identify business threats, and evaluate system or network security programs to create a security operations strategy while reducing risks to systems and data
- Utilize the NIST Risk Management Framework model to assist and manage information security incidents to minimize risk to systems and data
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with various government teams to conduct cyber security operations across various branches of government
- Create standard operating procedures in partnerships with government personnel to enhance security operations, improve response capabilities, and to meet compliance requirements
- Work with various government departments in deploying best security practices as results of planned cybersecurity assessments on systems and data
Requirements
- 10 years of relevant experience providing project management support for enterprise level IT projects
- A project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
Preferred Additional Skills and Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, or IT-related discipline
- One or more of the following certifications,
- Certified Scrum Master(CSM)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
