IT (Ready Mix Concrete)

Is responsible for managing and supporting all IT systems related to ready-mix concrete operations, including batching plants, dispatch systems, GPS tracking, ERP software, and office IT infrastructure. The role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations that support plant production, logistics, finance, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure for ready-mix concrete plants, head office, and project sites
• Support batching plant software, dispatch systems, weighbridge systems, and production reporting tools
• Manage ERP systems related to production, sales, fleet, finance, and HR
• Ensure smooth operation of GPS tracking systems for transit mixers and concrete pumps
• Maintain servers, networks, email systems, data storage, and backups
• Implement cybersecurity measures, access controls, and data protection policies
• Coordinate with batching plant suppliers, software vendors, and IT service providers
• Monitor system performance and resolve IT issues with minimal downtime
• Manage IT assets, licenses, renewals, and vendor contracts
• Prepare IT budgets and control operational costs
• Provide user support and training to plant staff, dispatchers, and office employees
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and system manuals
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and applicable regulations

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 4 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in Ready Mix Concrete
• Strong experience with batching plant systems, dispatch software, and ERP solutions
• Good knowledge of networking, servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity
• Experience with fleet tracking and plant automation systems is an advantage
• Professional certifications (CCNA, MCSE, ITIL, or similar) are an advantage
