Job Duties
- Administers and implements new systems or changes to the technology infrastructure with minimum disruption to supported systems.
- Supports training for technicians on vulnerability remediation, patching and updating, as well as general desktop maintenance, if necessary.
- Assists in taking proactive ownership of core ITIL processes including change management, incident response for data center assets, and problem resolution.
- Attempts to provide high availability (99.9%) when completing vulnerability remediation whether planned or unplanned outages.
- Exhibits the credit union’s seven service standards promoting a culture of welcoming all and putting people first whether they are a member or a coworker.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in computer science, security administrator or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Security+, Cisco or Microsoft, or SANS certificates strongly desired.
- Working knowledge of Cisco networking, UCS, and Microsoft O365, Active Directory and Azure desired.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) knowledge.
- VMware ESXi experience is preferred.
- VMware vCenter, Backup and Recovery experience is recommended.
- Desktop Server OS experience is highly desired.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to process complex information, analyze and solve complex technical problems.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to organize and prioritize work and work accurately under pressure.
- Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays if needed.
- Must be bondable.
