The IT Security Administrator (ITSA) is responsible for assisting with the administration, configuration, and auditing of the University’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system security to ensure the protection of sensitive institutional data. Beyond ERP management, the ITSA serves as a foundational member of the central IT Security team, contributing to the broader defensive posture of the University. The position is highly collaborative, both within the Office of Technology and throughout the entire University. This requires the ability to bridge the gap between technical security requirements and the operational needs of diverse academic and administrative departments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree or higher in an information technology/information security or related field, or in business administration by hire date.
Minimum of two years of experience in a software development or cybersecurity related role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and principles.
Experience with security or similar monitoring tools or systems.
Certifications in cybersecurity, secure practices, GRC, or similar areas.
Experience working in a higher education setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of personal integrity.
