General Purpose of the Position
Provides support for all departments to ensure the reliable operation of computer systems and maximize user productivity. Delivers information security and service desk services, while maintaining effective user account governance, accountability, and up-to-date IT policies across the firm’s systems.
1. Provide timely and effective IT support by managing and resolving service requests in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
2. Administer user accounts in Active Directory, including the creation, modification, disabling, and removal of user accounts, groups, and permissions in accordance with approved access requests and firm security policies.
3. Perform quarterly access reviews and cross-checks to ensure Active Directory accounts, group memberships, and permissions remain accurate, authorized, and aligned with job roles and business requirements.
4. Maintain user account governance and accountability, ensuring access is provisioned on a least-privilege basis and promptly updated or revoked based on employment or role changes.
5. Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, authentication, and system performance, ensuring all actions are logged in the ticketing system and IT documentation repositories.
6. Install, configure, maintain, and support end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, IP phones, smartphones, tablets, printers, and other network-connected equipment.
7. Support information security operations, including account security, password policies, authentication issues, and protection of sensitive firm data.
8. Monitor technology performance and user experience, collect user feedback, and recommend improvements to hardware, software, configurations, or access controls as appropriate.
9. Deploy, configure, and upgrade application software, including productivity tools, specialized business applications, enterprise antivirus, and diagnostic utilities.
10. Support small to medium-sized IT initiatives and projects, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, and providing documentation and status updates as required.
11. Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records, including tracking, storage, replacement, and surplus of equipment.
12. Develop, update, and maintain IT documentation, including procedures for account management, security controls, system usage, and troubleshooting best practices.
13. Assist in maintaining and reviewing IT policies and procedures, ensuring they remain current, compliant, and consistently enforced.
14. Provide advanced technical assistance for complex or escalated issues, working directly with users to ensure effective and secure solutions.
15. Ensure compliance with firm policies and security standards, including proper handling of administrative access and sensitive information.
16. Perform other related duties as assigned, consistent with the scope and responsibilities of the position.
Education, Training and/or Experience Required
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Network Administration, Systems Engineering, or a related field of study. Certifications, such as CompTIA's Network+, Cisco's CCNA, ITIL, CISM and Microsoft's MCSA, preferred. Minimum three years of experience in a similar position.
Language, Skills and Knowledge
The employee must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one. Excellent listening and questioning skills combined with the ability to interact confidently with others to establish what the problem is and explain the solution. Must be able to write and speak both in Spanish and English. Must project a mature, well-balanced personality and the ability to work independently, to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. The employee must be able to apply concepts of basic arithmetic and mathematics. Impeccable manners, punctuality, reliability, attention to detail and empathy are critical success factors. The employee needs to have strong problem-solving skills, focus on customer service, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload.
Reasoning Abilities
The employee must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. The position also requires the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands
The position requires normal physical effort when standing, walking, and/or using office equipment. Also requires that weight be lifted or force be exerted up to a maximum of 30 pounds.

This position is usually performed in an office environment under normal conditions.
