IT Support Specialist:

Olson’s Greenhouse of Colorado is currently seeking a full-time, IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST. This position would be located at our greenhouse location in FORT LUPTON, COLORADO.

Olson’s Greenhouse grows and distributes bedding plants and related live goods throughout the Intermountain West. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced professional to join our company in the role of IT Support Specialist to work with and support our amazing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot level 1 and 2 support issues such as: drivers, IP conflicts, External and Internal Hardware, Windows Setup / Maintenance, AV, Third Party Software Installations and Configuration.
• Troubleshoot phone and sound device issues. (Including mobile apps on IOS and Android)
• Ability to provide friendly guidance to employees in system usage.
• Assist the data department with researching and entering in data to user forms when IT work is not needed.
• When IT work is not needed, an IT Support Specialist will assist with accounting, HR, and/or other office duties. These duties may include but are not limited to data entry, office errands, office supply inventory management and/or other clerical roles.
• Manage and oversee the GPS units for company fleet.
• Managing IT hardware and software inventory, which includes hardwiring and removal of obsolete technology. This also includes inventory of ink, toner, printers, etc.
• Assist in setting up virtual meetings, audio/visual connections.
• Willingness to work in greenhouse or warehouse environment. Will not always be working behind a desk.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2+ years troubleshooting computers preferably in an office environment.
• Familiarity with remote desktop connection programs.
• Ability to learn our systems quickly to provide company program specific troubleshooting.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to commute on occasion to our other nearby facility locations if IT issues arrive.

Desired Experience

• Network familiarity with IP addresses, subnets, and DNS settings.
• Knowledge of machine imaging.

Job Type: Full-time hourly. On-site.

Full time salary position includes 7 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision benefits after first month of employment, employee discounts, paid time off and 401k benefits. Participation in company bonus program.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:
