IT Support Specialist

Job Title: IT Support Specialist / Technical Support Engineer / Helpdesk Support (L1–L2)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to users (hardware, software, and network issues)
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents via phone, email, and ticketing systems
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals
• Support Windows OS, Office applications, and business tools
• Assist with user account setup, permissions, and password management
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions
• Ensure IT systems run smoothly with minimal downtime

Requirements

• Experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support role
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and networking concepts
• Understanding of hardware troubleshooting and system maintenance
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple requests
• IT certification (CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) is an advantage
