Position: IT Support Administrator
Reports To: IT Supervisor
Location: Boulder, CO
Job Summary: The IT Support Administrator has the overall responsibility for maintaining and supporting Giant Group's Information Systems and computing resources. This role serves as the primary technical point of contact, managing hardware, software, and infrastructure in coordination with external vendors to ensure service availability and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
Systems & Network Administration: Help to maintain and support the organization’s servers, domain services, email systems, and network infrastructure in coordination with external IT service providers to ensure system availability and performance.-
Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide high-level technical support to staff regarding applications, systems integration, and hardware issues via phone, in-person, or remote tools.

Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and test workstations, laptops, printers, copiers, and telecommunications hardware. Responsible for the repair and maintenance of these computing resources.

Security & Data Integrity: Assist in monitoring backup, restore, and security processes in collaboration with external IT partners to protect agency data and ensure disaster recovery readiness.

Compliance & Documentation: Review and update IT procedures, policies, and documentation to ensure all systems align with regulatory requirements and internal audit standards.

Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues with external IT vendors for escalation, resolution, and procurement.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 2-4 years of experience supporting business IT environments, including user support, systems administration, and vendor coordination.

Technical Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical problems independently.

Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a dedicated focus on accuracy, detail, and integrity. Self-motivated working ability with minimal supervision or direction.

Flexibility: A "can-do" attitude with the ability to work outside normal business hours when critical system maintenance is required.
