Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Support Engineer with 2 years of experience to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in troubleshooting desktop, laptop, and network issues, along with a solid understanding of Office 365, Windows, hardware, and software-related problems. In addition, the candidate should have knowledge of equipment purchasing processes to assist in acquiring necessary IT hardware for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Provide support for end users by resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, Office 365 applications, desktop computers, laptops, and network connectivity. Diagnose, resolve, and escalate more complex technical issues to senior team members when necessary.
  • Office 365 Support:

Troubleshoot and resolve common issues within Office 365, including problems with email (Outlook), SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft 365 apps. Assist with user account management, including creating, modifying, and deleting accounts as needed. Provide guidance to users on how to use Office 365 features and functionality.

  • Hardware & Software Support:

Diagnose and repair hardware failures in desktops, laptops, and peripherals such as printers, scanners, etc. Install and configure software, including operating systems, applications, and security patches. Ensure all hardware and software assets are properly inventoried and updated as necessary.Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues, including connectivity problems with wired and wireless networks. Support internal network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) as needed. Collaborate with the network team to resolve more complex networking issues.Assist in the purchasing process of IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network devices. Research and recommend appropriate hardware/software based on organizational needs and budget. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of IT equipment.Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person. Train end users on basic hardware/software functionality, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to use their systems effectively.Maintain accurate documentation of all support activities, including troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and equipment inventory. Create and update knowledge base articles to aid the team and improve end-user self-service.Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and technical assistance.
  • Proficient with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11).
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 and its suite of applications.
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, VPN, etc.) and ability to troubleshoot network issues.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.
  • Experience in IT equipment procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work under pressure.
  • A proactive approach to identifying issues and resolving them in a timely manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs60,000.00 per month
