Overview:
We are seeking an IT Support Officer to provide technical assistance and ensure smooth operation of IT systems, hardware, software, and networks. The role includes troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support to maintain efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Network & System Support

  • Maintain and monitor LAN/WAN connectivity and network devices.
  • Troubleshoot network and system issues to minimize downtime.
  • Manage Wi-Fi networks and ensure reliable connectivity.

Hardware & Software Support

  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and peripherals.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Support operating systems and applications, including updates and license management.

User Support

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to staff.
  • Respond to IT service requests through the helpdesk system or email.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.

Asset & Security Management

  • Maintain IT asset inventory and track equipment usage.
  • Ensure data backups and assist with data recovery when required.
  • Support cybersecurity and system protection measures.

Microsoft 365 & Email Administration

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within Microsoft 365.
  • Provide support for Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Configure and troubleshoot email accounts and access issues.

System Evaluation & Maintenance

  • Assist in evaluating and implementing new IT tools or equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance to keep systems optimized.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of networking, hardware, and operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and general IT administration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Certifications (not required):

  • CompTIA A+ / Network+
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • ITIL Foundation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs90,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
