IT Support Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Officer with strong knowledge of Networking and Server Management to support and maintain our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting network and server issues, and ensuring smooth and secure IT operations. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to coordinate IT support activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for networking and server-related issues
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network, server, hardware, and connectivity problems
• Coordinate and manage IT support requests to ensure timely resolution
• Install, configure, and maintain servers and network equipment
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security
• Assist in planning and implementing IT projects
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve IT operations
• Develop and follow IT policies and procedures
• Stay updated with the latest networking and server technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in IT support with a focus on networking and servers
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, server operating systems, and hardware
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network troubleshooting
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, MCSA, or similar) will be an advantage

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs75,000.00 per month
