IT Support & Shop Assistant (Full Time – Lincoln, NE)

The Computer Magician is a small, family-run IT company serving Lincoln businesses and home users for over 30 years. We manage everything from networks and servers to websites, SEO, and computer repair. We are growing and looking for someone who wants to be part of our team long-term.

What This Job Involves

This is a hands-on, entry-level position that includes a mix of IT, customer service, and daily shop/office tasks.

IT & Technical Work

• Help build, upgrade, and repair PCs
• Basic troubleshooting (hardware and software)
• Assist with website updates and light SEO tasks
• Learn customer network setups and IT best practices
• Set up workstations, install software, and assist with client updates

Customer Service

• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Greet and assist walk-in customers
• Intake repairs and log them properly

Shop / Office Duties

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Perform routine cleaning and shop upkeep
• Run local errands (post office, drop-offs, etc.)

What We’re Looking For

• Someone who wants to learn real IT hands-on
• Comfortable helping with both technical and routine shop tasks
• Reliable, professional, and good with customers
• Valid driver’s license
• Interested in long-term employment and growth

Prior IT experience is not required. A willingness to learn and a positive attitude are most important.
