We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our internal IT systems and providing exceptional technical support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of the technology that underpins our innovative services.
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line technical support to on-site and remote employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, mobile devices, peripherals, and office applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various platforms, including Microsoft 365 and other corporate systems.
- Respond to, prioritise, and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner using our helpdesk system.
- Assist with the IT onboarding and offboarding processes for all employees.
- Manage IT asset inventory, including hardware procurement, tracking, and disposal.
- Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for IT processes, procedures, and user guides.
- Collaborate with the wider technology team on IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and best practices to protect company data and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in an IT support or helpdesk role.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration.
- A solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk, Zendesk).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working within a fintech or technology-focused company is highly desirable.
