Position Overview

Cygnal Tech LLC is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our technical operations team in Doha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first- and second-level technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across hardware, software, and network systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users via helpdesk, phone, email, and on-site assistance
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control (Active Directory / cloud systems)
• Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance
• Assist in setting up and supporting office networks, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections
• Document incidents, solutions, and IT procedures in the ticketing system
• Support software deployment, updates, and system upgrades
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and service requests
• Ensure data backup and recovery procedures are followed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk role
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk)
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals or equivalent
• Experience in enterprise or multi-site IT environments
• Basic knowledge of firewall and endpoint security tools
