IT Support Specialist

Position Summary:
ETechnology Egypt LLC is seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level technical support to end users via phone, email, and in-person
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripheral devices
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory or similar systems
- Support office IT infrastructure including printers, routers, switches, and VoIP systems
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance and updates
- Document technical issues, solutions, and IT procedures
- Assist in IT security practices including antivirus management and patch updates
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Familiarity with Active Directory, VPNs, and ticketing systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure)
- Basic cybersecurity awareness
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
