IT Support Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot IT issues, and ensure smooth operation of systems and networks. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to support both internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve IT problems in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, applications, and devices.
• Collaborate with vendors and IT teams for escalated issues.
• Monitor system performance and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and system configurations.
• Train staff on IT tools, systems, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar’s IT regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT support or specialist roles.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, ITIL) are an advantage.
