IT Support Specialist

Role Overview
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical assistance, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring optimal performance of hardware, software, and networks. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, solution-focused, and passionate about technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, systems, and applications
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving faults
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and system security protocols
• Monitor system performance and ensure timely updates and maintenance
• Support IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and peripherals
• Document issues, solutions, and system updates for internal reference
• Coordinate with external vendors when necessary

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and basic cybersecurity practices
• Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and system maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are an advantage
