Overview

Softvira LLC is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our technical team in Lusail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the organization’s IT systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving issues in a timely manner
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control systems
• Support Windows, macOS, and common business applications
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Assist in implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices
• Document technical issues, solutions, and system updates
• Collaborate with vendors and external IT service providers when necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk role
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and troubleshooting tools
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools
• Good understanding of IT security principles
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS)
• Knowledge of IT ticketing systems
• Basic scripting or automation skills
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
