IT Support Specialist Job Description

Wazann LLC is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT systems, providing technical support to users, and ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
• Troubleshoot system errors, connectivity issues, and application problems efficiently
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights (e.g., Active Directory, email systems)
• Monitor IT systems, servers, and network performance to ensure uptime and reliability
• Perform regular system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance
• Assist in implementing IT policies, cybersecurity measures, and data protection practices
• Maintain documentation of IT assets, procedures, and support activities
• Support IT projects, system upgrades, and new technology deployments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration roles
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments
• Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
• Experience with Office 365, remote desktop tools, and ticketing systems
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications) are an advantage
