IT Support Specialist – Techificent LLC (Doha, Qatar)

Techificent LLC is seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day technology operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner, both onsite and remotely.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control across company systems.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and other business applications.
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and servers.
• Perform system updates, backups, and security checks to ensure data integrity.
• Document issues, solutions, and IT procedures in the support ticketing system.
• Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
• Provide end-user training and guidance when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts.
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Active Directory, Azure, or cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of firewall and antivirus management.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
