ExtraMile Convenience Stores LLC is a joint venture owned by Chevron and Jacksons Food Stores. The ExtraMile network is currently made up of more than 1,1,00 convenience stores in Alabama, California, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. ExtraMile Convenience Stores LLC is a fast-growing franchisor, expanding store count and geography annually.
The Support Specialist is responsible for providing first-line technical and operational support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues efficiently. This role focuses on helping customers and employees troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems. Strong communication skills and a customer-centric mindset are key to success in this position.
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00/hr. DOE.
Some of what you’ll do as a Support Specialist at ExtraMile:- Respond to support tickets, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Provide prompt and professional customer support to ensure high levels of user satisfaction.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of user systems and software.
- Additional duties as assigned.
You’ll be a great fit for this opportunity if you:- Have at least an associate degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ Years of experience in helpdesk/customer support preferred.
- Resolve conflicts and act to make things right for the customer.
- Develop and share best practices with others.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with several priorities while being flexible to shift priority.
- Identify problems and use effective problem-solving methods to select the best possible option.
- This is a remote position. Candidates must be based in the United States and possess valid authorization to work in the U.S. at the time of application.
Physical Environment: Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
