IT Support Specialist

You will learn about all the brands we represent, selling and merchandising techniques, and will be cross trained in all departments within the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setup of hardware and equipment for workstations - new & existing.
  • Ability to work with Office suite – Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Provide systems/equipment support.
  • Experience with managing day-to-day systems operations.
  • Maintain inventory of hardware, equipment, iPads, phones, etc.
  • Manage printers, scanners, network equipment, etc. Keep hardware up to date.
  • Manage cell phones & cell service, including accounts, devices, and support.
  • Keep track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.
  • Train employees on hardware functionality and software programs.
  • Produce weekly KPI reports.
  • Other relatable tasks.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in computer science preferred but not required, information technology or similar certifications.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience as an IT Specialist or similar role.
  • Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and
  • Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users.
  • Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics such as KPI reports, etc.
  • Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS

· Willingness to learn

· Ability to act in a professional manner and communicate well

· Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and Excel

· 2 – 4 Years of related IT experience

· Experience in any distribution related software such as Retalix, VAI, CDR, etc. (D2K experience is a plus)
