IT Support Technician

NathanNathan is seeking an Entry-Level IT Support Technician to join our in-office IT team with a clearly defined growth path toward a Junior Security Administrator role. This position is ideal for someone early in their IT career who enjoys hands-on support work, structured learning, and wants exposure to cybersecurity operations in a professional services environment. The role is intentionally designed with an 80% focus on core IT support and 20% exposure to security systems, ensuring a strong operational foundation before assuming higher-risk responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary intake point for all IT helpdesk tickets
Accurately document, categorize, and prioritize tickets in Zendesk
Resolve Tier 1 IT support issues, including
Account lockouts and password resets
Hardware setup and basic troubleshooting
Microsoft 365 and Active Directory user support
Escalate Tier 2 issues to senior IT staff when appropriate
Maintain clear communication with end users throughout the support process
Close tickets with complete, professional documentation
