Position Overview

Jamestown Container Companies is seeking a motivated and technology-driven IT Support Technician to join our growing IT team at our Macedonia, Ohio facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or someone early in their IT career who has a passion for technology, enjoys solving problems, and wants hands-on experience across many areas of Information Technology.

The ideal candidate is someone who is naturally curious, enjoys working with computers and technology, has a strong willingness to learn, and is eager to grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for someone who can develop into a long-term member of our IT organization and gain experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity initiatives, cloud technologies, and manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Do

· Provide front-line IT helpdesk support for end users across the organization

· Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve support tickets in a timely and professional manner

· Document issues, resolutions, and technical procedures within the ticketing system

· Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices

· Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues

· Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications and account support

· Support Windows-based environments, Active Directory, and endpoint management systems

· Assist with workstation deployments, onboarding, and equipment setup

· Support cybersecurity and IT best practices across the organization

· Participate in infrastructure and technology improvement projects

· Travel between company locations as needed to support users and IT initiatives

What We’re Looking For

· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred

· Strong interest in computers, technology, and troubleshooting

· Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and networking concepts

· Familiarity with Microsoft products such as Windows and Microsoft 365

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests

· Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between company facilities

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

· Experience working with helpdesk or ticketing systems

· Experience with Active Directory or Microsoft 365 administration

· Exposure to networking, switches, wireless, or firewalls

· Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts or endpoint protection tools

· Personal technology projects, internships, or homelab experience

Work Environment

· This is an on-site position based out of our Macedonia, Ohio plant

· Occasional travel between company locations is required

· Hands-on support in both office and manufacturing environments

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
